WHO AM I

My name is Nicholas Waley and I'm senior currently enrolled at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications. 

Whenever I'm asked what brought me from the UK to LA to  Central New York , my answer is always the same: I have the dream to become a sports broadcaster. Even when I was 10 years old, I would commentate over games I would play on my playstation early in the morning. I would wake up my whole family in the process.  Those moments in my living room grew my goal of becoming part of the sports world. 

In my first 3 years of college, I've had the opportunity to call college and professional soccer games. During the Fall, I've called Syracuse Men's and Women's soccer games for ACC Network Extra. In the summer, I worked for NEP Group inc. in South Florida, calling games for the United Soccer League and MLS Next Pro on ESPN+ and Apple TV

My passion for the industry drove me to the best communication school in the country and I can't be more thankful to be in the position that I am today, learning from the best professionals in the industry.
